Commonly confusing words for cloze test and common errors Group D

1.Stationary and Stationery.
Stationary is used for any stability or anything remaining its place without moving and its an adjective whereas Stationery is used for reading and writing things i.e. noun.
(Stationary का मतलब की कोई चीज जो अपनी जहग पर रहती है, यह एक विशेषण है जबकि Stationery का उपयोग लिखने और पढ़ने की चीजों के लिए होता है )
Example
The moon is stationary.
He deals his goods in stationery.
2.Comic and Comical.
Comic is an adjective and used for a jock which is created knowingly that makes laughter
however Comical is also an adjective which imply that the form of jock which is ugly joke and created without knowing that makes laughter.
(Comic एक विशेषण है और एक मजाक है जो जानबूझकर बनाया गया होता है  जबकि Comical भी एक विशेषण है और एक भद्दा मजाक होता है जो बिना जानबूझकर बनाया होता है और जो हसी दिलाता है।)
Example
Mr. Bean is a comic figure.
The odd thinking of his gave him a comical appearance.
3.Accept and Except.
Accept is a verb and generally mean to grant or accept however Except is the word that make isolation or leaving something and its a preposition.
(Accept एक क्रिया है और जिसका मतलब होता है स्वीकार करना जबकि Except वह शब्द होता है जिसका मतलब होता है अलग या कुछ छोड़ना और यह एक सर्वनाम है।)
Example
Ketrina accept Aishwarya’s advice while going to home.
All the members of our family are called except children.
4.Former and Latter.
Former is used which means the first one from the two whereas Latter means the second one from the two.
(Former से तात्पर्य जिसका मतलब होता है दोनों में से पहले वाला जबकि Latter का मतलब होता है दोनों में से दूसरा वाला।)
Example
The former captain of India was not an actor.
The latter captain of India leads us towards world-cup trophy.
5.Addition and Edition.
Addition means adding or growing whereas Edition means impression or edited for new publication.
(Addition का मतलब जोड़ना या बढ़ना जबकि Edition का मतलब संस्करण )
Example
His addition of money helps poor people.
The latest edition star4english of Jaspal Singh has been published.
6.Habit and Custom.
Habit means the personal nature or addiction however Custom means social trend or custom.
(Habit का मतलब व्यक्तिगत स्वभाव या  आदत जबकि Custom का मतलब प्रथा )
Example
He is in the habit of smoking.
It is custom of Muslim to go the mosque.
7.Stay and Stop.
Stay means one stay while on his/her journey but his journey is not completed yet just take a shelter however Stop means journey or something completed totally.
(Stay का मतलब कुछ दिनों या कुछ देर के लिए रुकना और Stop का मतलब समाप्त करना या पूरा करना )
Example
Ravi stayed at the Bhangi hotel for two days.
Pallav stop his journey and come back to home.
8.Leave and Let.
Leave imply of leaving something and its a main verb whereas Let means allowing permission and its a helping verb so any verb should be used after it always.
(Leave निर्देशित करता है की कुछ छोड़ना और यह एक मुख्य क्रिया है जबकि Let का मतलब अनुमति माँगना और यह एक क्रिया है जिसके बाद कोई क्रिया का होना आवश्यक हैं )
Example
Leave the locality in no time.
Let me share this.
9.Disease and Decease.
Disease mean illness however Decease means death and both are noun.                
(Decease का मतलब मृत्यु जबकि Disease का मतलब बीमारी और दोनों ही एक संज्ञा है )
Example
Dengue is disease that is scattered over whole Delhi.
The decease day of Mahatma Gandhi will be noticed.
10.Complement and Compliment.
Complement is used for completing anything its a part that can complete anything whereas Compliment is a greet to someone.
(Complement से तात्पर्य किसी चीज को पूरा करने के लिए उक्ति या सहायक जबकि Compliment से तात्पर्य अभिवादन या प्रणाम से होता है )
Example
Ram’s complement makes Sita more beautiful.
Please give my compliment to your elders.
