तो आइये शुरू करे :-

एक महत्वपूर्ण बात - जिस महीने में आपकी परीक्षा आयोजित की जा रही है उससे चार महीने पूर्व तक सामयिक घटनाओं की जानकारी आप अच्छी तरह से जुटा लें , क्योंकि लगभग सभी प्रश्न इस अवधि के दौरान के पूछे जाते हैं।
बैंक P.O में प्रश्नों की संख्या 13-14 होती है। पहले अर्थव्यवस्था से सम्बंधित अधिकांश प्रश्न होते थे अब अर्थव्यवस्था , समसामयिकी, व्यक्तित्व विषयों का प्रतिनिधित्व लगभग बराबर हो गया है। इसलिए समसामयिकी के सभी क्षेत्रों पर समुचित ध्यान देने की जरूरत है। इस प्रश्न के अन्तर्गत 50 प्रश्न होते हैं। इसकी तैयारी इस प्रकार की जाती है:-
टीवी समाचार चैनलों में से कम-से-कम किसी एक प्रमुख चैनल का मुख्य प्रसारण नियमित रूप से अवश्य देखें व सुनें तथा उनके सम्बन्ध में संक्षिप्त नोट भी तत्काल तैयार करने की यथासंभव कोशिश करें।
सामान्य सचेतता की तैयारी की लिए (गिव लिंक) प्रत्येक माह पढ़ना काफी सहायक सिद्ध होगा।
प्रश्नों के सम्बन्ध में यह बताया जा चुका है कि अधिकांश प्रश्न समसामयिक घटनाओं एवं परिघटनाओं से सम्बंधित होते हैं। इसलिए यह जानलेना महत्वपूर्ण है की कितनी अवधि पूर्व घटित घटनाओं को समसामयिक घटनाओं की क्ष्रैणी में रखा जा सकता है। इन संबंध में भी कोई निश्चित पैमाना नहीं है।कभी-कभी परीक्षा तिथि से एक सप्ताह पहले से 15 दिन पूर्व तक घटित घटनाओं को शामिल कर जाता है जबकि कभी-कभी छह से आठ माह पूर्व तक घटित घटनाओं से सम्बंधित प्रश्न पूछे जाते हैं। लेकिन एक बात अवश्य है की बहुसंख्यक प्रशन परीक्षा तिथि से दो माह पूर्व घाट घटनाओं से सम्बंधित होते हैं। लेकिन , इस आधार पर अपेक्षाकृत अधिक समय पूर्व घटित घटनाओं की नहीं की जा सकती।
