Commonly confusing words for cloze test and common errors Group E

1.Adverse and Averse.
Adverse That means bad luck or undesirable and the Averse means desire not to take any action.
(Adverse अर्थात दुर्भाग्य या अवांछनीय और वहीँ Averse का मतलब कोई भी कार्य को करने में इच्छा रखना)
Example
You are a pessimist so always take Adverse decision in life.
In this modern time there are so many pupil who are adverse to hard work.
2.All together and Altogether.
All together means the aggregation of everybody and whereas Altogether means actually or totally.
(All together से तात्पर्य सभी एकसाथ जब्कि Altogether से अभिप्राय पुरी तरह से )
Example
We all together went for a picnic.
Rani altogether was happy when she had taken a new dress.
3.Dual and Duel.
Dual mean a kind/type of two and Duel means the war of two person.
(Dual मतलब दो तरह का और जब्कि Duel का मतलब दो व्यकित्यों का मल्ल युद्ध )
Example
I have just buy a mobile having option to insert dual sim.
Akshay fought with Jhon cina a duel and both of them get injured.
4.Loan and Lend.
Loan=borrowed money, is expected to, a sum of money+ paid back with.Lend=giving money and specially known that it will be get back soon.
(Loan का मतलब उधार लेना और Lend का मतलब उधार देना अर्थात् जिसे पैसे दिये जा रहे हैं उससे यह उम्मिद भी की जा रही है कि पैसे वापस भी मिल ही जायेंगे  )
Example
The bank granted her a loan of 2 lakh rupees.
The bank lent her 2 lakh rupees.
5.Its and It’s.
For non leaving things we generally use Its and shows relation, denote pronoun and It’s means [“it is”]
(Its का व्यवहार वस्तु के सम्बन्ध से है जब्कि It’s = “यह है”)केवल निर्जिव वस्तुओं के लिये
Example
I have purchased a new mobile and got its cover in free.
It’s a funniest movie I have ever seen.
6.Most and Almost.
Most means excess or more than enough of something or the superlative degree but Almost means approximate or just exact but not totally.
(Most का अर्थ है प्रचुर मात्रा या अधिक्ता और यह सुपर्लेटिव डिग्री भी है, जब्कि Almost का अर्थ है लगभग )
Example
Most of the people are addicted of watching movie.
Almost the sum is done.
7.Fair and Fare.
Fair is noun as you know like book fair and Fare is money to pay someone.
(Fair का अर्थात् मेला और एक संज्ञा है जब्कि Fare से तात्पर्य भाडा या किराया )
Example
Last night we went for book fair.
My friend paid the fare for the zoo ticket.
8.Least and Less.
Least mean very tiny in all and Less means smaller than that of two.
(Least से अभिप्रायः बहुत छोटा और Less का मतलब दोनों में से छोटा )
Example
This money is least desirable for her photo shoot.
Tea is less desirable for me.
9.Breath, Breathe and Breadth.
Breath is a noun and mean the respiration whereas Breath (Verb) and Breadth (Noun) means inhale or taking breath and Wideness respectively.
(Breath जो सांस को अंगित करता है और यह एक संज्ञा है और वहीं Breathe एक क्रिया है और Breadth एक संज्ञा है जो क्रमशः सांस लेना और चौडाई को इंगित करता है )
Example
Raju was suffering from asthma and he had breath problem.
In the rural area most of the house wife was unable to breathe while cooking.
The breadth of the curtain in the cinema hall was extra large.
10.Disinterested and Uninterested.
Disinterested means without selfishness and its an adjective whereas Uninterested mean without any interest.
(Disinterested का मतलब बिना किसी स्वार्थ के और यह एक विशेषण है जब्कि Uninterested से अभिप्रायः बिना किसी रूची के अर्थात् किसी चिज में रूची होना )
Example
Ramu gave him money disinterestedly.
Jaya was uninterested while talking with her .
