1.By leaps and bounds (बहुत तेजी से→Very rapidly)
Leap means swing and
bound mean jumps.Suppose you want to point an apple with the help of
longbow.You just take an longbow and you know its shape is like a lip(if you
bent the solid side down and the string side above).Now, you can see that the
string is just bound to loose the arrow.Now you get it. If you loose the arrow
it will motion very rapidly.So, now you know the meaning of leaps and bounds.
(Leap अर्थात् उछलना और bound मतलब भी उछ्लना या बांधना I मान लिजिए कि आपको किसी सेब को निशाना लगाना है, और आपने धनुष उठाया और आप जानते है कि यदि धनुष को उल्टा करके पकडेंगे तो वो एक निचले होंठ की तरह दिखेगा और उपर में एक डोरी नजर आयेगी जिसके सहारे आपको तीरे छोडना होता है I अब आप समझ गए I यदि आप तीर छोडेंगे तो वह बहुत तेजी से निशाना साधेगा I अतः आप यहाँ Leap (होंठ) और bound(बंधी हुई डोर) का मतलब भली भाँती समझ गये हैं I )
