Commonly confusing words for cloze test and common errors Group B

1.If and Whether.
If is used for any condition and bet, and whether is used for an option or content.
(If किसी भी हालत और शर्त के लिए प्रयोग किया जाता है, और Whether विकल्प या सामग्री के लिए प्रयोग किया जाता है।)
Example
If you give my your money only then I will perform on the stage.
I don’t know whether she will perform or not.
2.Patron and Customer.
Patron means a supporter of yours and Customer denotes buyers.
(Patron अर्थात आपका कोई समर्थक और Customer खरीदारों को कहा जाता है)
Example
Mamta Banerjee thanked her patrons who were waiting for her speech.
Bhuban the shopkeeper attended his customers.
3.Each other and One another.
Each other is used when there is only two person i.e. between them whereas One another imply more than two person. i.e. among them.
(Each other एक और दो व्यक्ति के लिये प्रयोग होता है जबकि One another दो व्यक्ति से अधिक के
लिये प्रयोग किया जाता है। अर्थात उनके बीच में।)
Example
Raja and Kulbhushan had known each other for fifteen years.
Raja,Kulbhushan and Devid knew one another for fifteen years.
4.Affect,Effect and Effect.
Affect means if one is using of it then it imply that it was for anything bad, Effect is used for good moreover the Effect is used for applying or imposing.
(Affect कुछ भी बुराई के लिए किया प्रयोग होता है, Effect अच्छे के लिए प्रयोग किया जाता है। इसके अलावा Effect नया नियम लागू करने या लगाने के लिए प्रयोग किया जाता है।)
Example
Ravikant’s bad manner must affect his children.
Her behavior must effect on the society.
The new rules effected on the school children.
5.Altar and Alter.
There is only the change of “a” and “e” into the words but used in different form.
Altar is used when we put the holy ingredients to god on the table of worshiping so its a noun and another Alter denote of changing that means a verb.
(वहाँ '' और शब्दों में '' का बदलाव है, लेकिन अलग रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।
Altar एक संज्ञा है और पूजा की मेज पर भगवान के लिए पवित्र सामग्री डालने के लिये होता है अर्थात वेदी जबकि Alter किसी चीज को बदलने का प्रयोग किया जाता है।)
Example
He knelt down before the alter of goddess Saraswati Mata and take an oath.
He is altering the singing book.
6.Access and Excess.
Access imply the reach of someone i.e. noun and Excess denotes the increase of something i.e. a noun.
(Access यानी पहुँच एक संज्ञा है और किसीकी पहुंच से सम्बन्धित है और Excess एक संज्ञा यानी वृद्धि को दर्शाता है।)
Example
Bhanu is a poor fellow and has no access of higher studies.
Bhanu has excess of money to buy a Zilo car.
7.Continual and Continuous.
Continual imply that doing something with a delay,again and again but slowly whereas Continuous means without any delay or dynamic.
(Continual अर्थात् बार बार, किसी देरी के साथ या धीरे-धीरे जबकि Continuous गतिशील, एक सतत साधन से समझा जाता है।)
Example
Mohan give the continual warning to Ravi.
Its raining cats and dogs continuously.  
8.Born and Borne.
Born imply, yield or to give birth whereas Borne denotes to lift up.
(Born मतलब उपज या जन्म देना जबकि Borne कुछ ऊपर उठाने से सम्बन्धित है। )
Example
I had seen you just after you born.
Sahil borne her burden one by one and get rid of it.
9.Cent and Scent.
Cent used for a coin and Scent used for a fragrance.Both are noun.
(Cent किसी सिक्के के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है जबकि Scent खुशबू के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है और दोनो ही संज्ञा हैं।)
Example
Cent is a little coin of America.
The scent of marigold keeps away mosquitoes from one’s house.
10.Beside and Besides.
Beside used that something is near by and close whereas Besides denotes an optional part i.e. else.
(Beside अर्थात किसी के बगल में या पास से और करीब जबकि Besides अर्थात के अलावा और एक optional हिस्सा को दर्शाता है )
Example
Ramu house is just beside of the A.T.M.
The patient get counseling besides his treatment.
